What is ocean data-as-a-service?
Ocean data-as-a-service (DaaS) is a model where you receive ocean data without buying, crewing or maintaining any vehicles. Online Oceans owns and operates the Scout USVs, runs the mission, and delivers quality-controlled data to secure cloud dashboards or via API. You pay for the data and outcomes, not the capital equipment.
How it works

Tell us what you need to measure, where, and for how long. We configure the payload and operating profile.
2. Deploy
Our UK-based team launches Scout from the nearest shore and holds station or transits the planned route.
3. Receive
Data streams back over satellite to your dashboard or API in real time, for months.
